I googled "Age 24" and one of the top results was this:
"By Age 24, Marriage Wins Out" (Gallup poll).
Age 25 was even more interesting:
"Anybody who gets married before the age of 25 scares me a little"
My 24th birthday last week was probably the most extended birthday celebration ever, as I took it upon myself to celebrate with the various circles of friends that I have (school, church, and college). While it wasn't as fun as someone else doing all the arranging/organizing for me and surprising me (something maybe down in the future), I still had a great time reconnecting with friends and celebrating. The quarter-century mark next year should be another good time, but then afterwards I might tone it back down since the older you get, it becomes more about decades than yearly celebrations (or so it seems).
Here's something to give perspective - if we lived in ancient Rome or Greece, I'd be nearing the end of my life (see life expectancies). Makes me wonder how much we take longevity and health for granted, as well as wonder how some of the great thinkers and other historical figures got so much accomplished in such relatively short span of life.
