Not sure if my current life choices are causing me to dig a metaphorical grave for myself or if I am trying to get out of the grave I've dug into the past however many years of my life. The older you get, the harder it is to start anew. One thing is certain: there is life and there is death, but what is uncertain is what that exactly means, i.e. what is life and what is death?

A couple of comments brother Fine. First, it may be difficult, but by no means impossible to reboot life: first, when I dropped out of my doctoral program and then when I've gone back to school to try and change fields all together. It may be a blow to the pride, but one can start over. As for life and death, remember there's no restarting from death; as a medical student, you probably appreciate the permanence of the latter.
